Welcome to the official publication and information services of the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA).

As from April, 28th 2009, DPMAregister for trade marks including indications of geographical origin is launched. It is the new Internet platform for the integrated publication of the official publications and register data with the current legal status information on IP rights.
At the same time, the DPMApublikationen service for trade marks is shut down. The same applies to the DPINFO service.
DPMAregister is particularly suitable for conducting searches for new IP applications and registered and granted IP rights, for gaining information on the current legal status of an IP right and for the regular and systematic monitoring of newly published IP rights. The DPMAkurier service for monitoring trade marks is now available at DPMAregister.
As before, DPMApublikationen remains the official publication platform for the other types of IP (patents, utility models including topographies, and designs). The integration of these IP rights in DPMAregister will follow at a later date. We will inform you separately of it.
