1. Introduction

Welcome to the publication platform of the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA)

DPMApublikationen is a service provided to you by the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA). It allows you to search IPR publications of the DPMA relating to patents and utility models online.

DPMApublikationen is the official publication platform of the DPMA, used by the office to issue all publications, prescribed by law within the scope of pending procedures regarding patents and utility models. This platform provides the electronic online versions of the former Patentblatt (Patent Gazette), whose publication on paper was abandoned at the end of 2003 as well as the publication of the patent documents and utility model documents.

We provide two versions of this electronic online gazette:

• The version in PDF format on the "download" page is displayed in the known layout of the former printed paper journal.
• In the searchable version in the search modes "Beginner" and "Expert" it is possible to open the bibliographic data of a publication from the result list obtained from a search.

In addition, it is possible to display the following data in the IP area of DPMApublikationen:

• For the patent/utility model area, the respective document can be displayed in PDF format; it can be displayed page by page and as full PDF document (all pages in one PDF file). These file(s) can be stored in your system for archiving or for further use.

DPMApublikationen has a German and an English user interface to access the IP data of the DPMA.

The DPMApublikationen Internet service is completely free of charge.
